Biography

Born in Hamburg in 1891, Dr. Hans Galform was the son of a respected shipping magnate whose family had long-standing ties to Germany's maritime and industrial elite. Raised in an environment that valued discipline, education, and national service, Galform pursued studies in law and political science before the outbreak of the Great War interrupted his academic career. Volunteering for military service in 1914, Galform served as an artillery officer on both the Western and Eastern Fronts. Distinguished by his organizational skill and calm leadership under pressure, he rose steadily through the ranks and earned several decorations for bravery and service. Following Germany's defeat, he returned to civilian life to complete his doctorate before entering public service. Throughout the turbulent years of the post-war era, Galform became a prominent advocate for military modernization and national reconstruction. His unique combination of military experience, academic achievement, and administrative ability earned him influential positions within the armed forces and government. Over time he emerged as one of the foremost military minds of the Reich. Today, as Reichsmarschall of Germany and Chief of the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht (OKW), Galform stands at the apex of the German Armed Forces. Responsible for coordinating the Wehrmacht's strategic direction and advising the Führer on military affairs, he is regarded as one of the most powerful figures in the Reich.
