Biography
Born in Prague in 1894 into the distinguished House of Schwarzenberg, Adolphus Rex was raised amidst the traditions of Bohemian nobility and imperial service. From an early age he was taught that duty to crown and country stood above personal ambition, a principle that would shape the course of his life. At the outbreak of the Great War, Rex volunteered for service in the Austro-Hungarian Army and was assigned to the elite mountain troops. Throughout the conflict he participated in campaigns across Serbia and Romania before being transferred to the Italian Front, where he earned a reputation for determination and composure under extreme conditions. During the war he also briefly served in the Gallipoli Campaign, gaining firsthand experience in one of the conflict's most demanding theaters. Following the collapse of Austria-Hungary, Rex devoted himself to public service and state security, believing that only strong institutions could preserve order in Central Europe. His administrative talents and unwavering loyalty eventually brought him into the highest ranks of government. Today, as Chief of the Reich Main Security Office (RSHA) and Protector of Bohemia and Moravia, Rex serves as one of the Reich's foremost security officials. From Prague to Berlin, his authority extends across intelligence, security, and the administration of his native homeland.
